Question：What is the size of the 42U cabinet?

Answer: 42U can be a server cabinet with a height of 2 meters, a width of 0.6 meters and a depth of 0.8 meters, or a server cabinet of 2 meters, a width of 0.6 meters and a depth of 0.96 meters;

Question 2: How many servers can be placed in a server cabinet?

Answer:Althoug such a rack, which typically stands 75 to 80 inches tall (depending on manufacturer), can hold 42 1U devices. you can not put 42 severe in it Because you need space to place the cooling system, power supply, upper and lower wiring, and place switches, firewalls, monitors and other equipment. In some situation， a 42U standard cabinet can hold up to 20pcs 1U servers.
